Privacy Policy
1. Information ROAST MY TIP! Collects
The current V1 build is designed to run locally on your device. It does not include user accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, tracking SDKs, receipt scanning, or server-side bill storage.
2. Bill Amounts
Bill amounts you type into the calculator are used on-device to calculate tip and total amounts. The current V1 build does not transmit entered bill amounts to a server.
3. Local Preferences
The app may store certain settings and acknowledgments locally on your device, such as whether you acknowledged Uncensored Mode and whether you accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy. This helps the app remember your preferences. The app also stores recognized purchase entitlements securely on your device so purchased premium content remains available.
4. Audio
ROAST MY TIP! includes bundled roast audio files. In the current V1 build, roast audio is played locally from app assets.
5. Share Roast
ROAST MY TIP! can generate a shareable image containing the selected character, tip percentage, and roast text. The image is generated locally on your device and may be stored temporarily in app cache for sharing. Sharing occurs only when you choose the Share Roast action and select a destination through your device's native share sheet. Content you choose to share may then be handled by the third-party app or service you select, subject to that service's own privacy practices.
6. Accounts
The current V1 build does not include an account, login, or user profile system.
7. Advertising
The current V1 build does not include advertising SDKs.
8. Analytics and Tracking
The current V1 build does not include intentional analytics, tracking, or advertising measurement technologies.
9. Permissions
The shipping V1 app does not request camera, photo library, microphone, location, contacts, or tracking permissions. Android debug and profile builds may include development-only internet permission used by Flutter tooling; the main release manifest does not declare an internet permission.
10. Third-Party Services
The current V1 build uses Flutter plugins for local audio playback, native sharing functionality, local preference and secure entitlement storage, and Apple App Store purchase functionality. Apple processes App Store transactions through StoreKit. The app code does not use these services to send user-entered bill information to third parties.
11. Purchases
ROAST MY TIP! offers optional one-time, non-consumable Apple In-App Purchases for individual premium voice packs and Unlock All Voices Forever. The current V1 build does not offer subscriptions or recurring charges. Apple handles payment processing through the App Store and may provide the app with product and transaction status needed to deliver or restore purchased content. ROAST MY TIP! does not directly receive or store your full payment card information. Purchase availability and displayed prices may vary by storefront, region, currency, and App Store availability. Eligible previous purchases may be recovered using Restore Purchases, and Apple's applicable purchasing, payment, and refund terms govern App Store transactions.
12. Children's Privacy
ROAST MY TIP! is a comedy app that may contain insults, profanity, and mature humor. The current V1 build does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If future features introduce data collection, this policy will be updated as appropriate.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
The current V1 build stores local app preferences, acknowledgments, and recognized purchase entitlements on your device. Generated Share Roast images may exist temporarily in app cache for sharing and are not intended to be permanently stored by ROAST MY TIP!. Local preferences, acknowledgments, and cached app data can generally be removed by deleting the app or clearing local app data where your platform allows it. Purchase entitlements may be recovered from Apple through StoreKit or Restore Purchases when you use the Apple ID associated with an eligible purchase.
14. Security
Because the current V1 build is designed around local calculations, local preferences, and securely stored purchase entitlements, it does not maintain a server account database for users. No method of storage or software operation can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Last Updated date will reflect the most recent changes.
